**Hanging weight and yield varies for each animal. Estimates above were derived using a 1,100# live animal with a dressing percent of 63% and a 50% yield. Calculations would be: 

1,100# live weight * 63% = 693# hanging weight

693# hanging weight * 50% yield = 346.5# packaged meat
